Whoa, so get this—Dysmantle, some survival game, has sold like, over two million copies. Pretty wild, right? Anyway, this info’s straight from the game’s developer, 10tons, who spilled the beans that they’re hitting this milestone a good 40-ish months after the big 1.0 launch in November 2021. Yeah, the game was in Early Access for a year before that. So yeah, it’s kind of been around the block. It’s out on literally everything: PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, iOS, and Android. Not a clue about which sold the most, though.
So, as a kind of “yay us,” they’re rolling out a physical edition—that’s like, an actual disc or something you can touch—for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The co-founder, Sampo Töyssy, chimes in, saying they’re over the moon about the 2 million sales. Side note: I think he’s pictured somewhere, looking all official.
Oh, and mark the calendar—June 27th is the drop date for this physical version. But there’s a kicker. They planned to release it in the US too, but something got tangled up, so that’s still up in the air. Kind of a bummer, right? Anyway, for those of you who can get it—cheers, and thanks for supporting these guys.
