So, last fall, they started this Switch Online trial thing — kind of like when you try to sneak in samples at the supermarket? Yeah, that. Anyways, it’s making a comeback with more chances to take the app for a spin.
Here’s the deal: If you’re an Expansion Pack subscriber and, oh yeah, over 18 by today at 6 p.m. ET, congrats, you can totally apply for this! Applications open Monday at 11 a.m. (Not gonna lie, I might forget that time) and close by 10:59 a.m. Wednesday. Japanese folks might have to deal with a lottery — the rest, it’s first come, first served. So, set those alarms if you actually want in. It’s gonna go from 9 p.m. ET July 28 to 9:59 p.m. August 10, which feels weirdly precise, right?
Oh, and just a heads up, some differences this time: way more people can join — like 40,000 globally, which is a jump from last time’s 10,000. More countries are in the mix too — Canada, Mexico, Brazil jumping in with the US, Japan, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain. Bigger party, basically. And — here’s the cool part — you can apply with others, up to four in a group. So, grab your pals and dive in? Or not. Up to you.
