Fortnite Implements Significant Battle Pass Update

When I say the Battle Bundle for Chapter 6 Season 3, I’m really talking about unlocking Superman… yeah, like *the* Superman outfit. What was it again? I think something about getting it early? Anyway, Fortnite’s got this new phase where DC characters show up – Superman, then Robin, plus those quirky skins. Hero Ranks are in there too, which sounds like leveling up with some special loot. Huh, didn’t expect that.

Oh, and I just remembered! Epic Games is maybe flirting with a mashup involving Bob’s Burgers, King of the Hill, and Family Guy. Wild, right?

Epic gave us a peek, posting on Twitter that players can snag the Superman skin by dropping some cash. Tie-in with the new movie maybe? It’s out July 11. It seems if you grab the Battle Bundle (somewhere around 1,800 V-Bucks, I think), you get early access to this Superman look. Usually, it offers 25 levels of rewards, but now there’s this early Superman thing. So, no waiting till July 11 if you ask me.

The team dropped these superhero-themed sprites into the mix. Little caped things wearing the Superman logo… cool, or maybe a bit cheesy? Laser-eye attack feature too. They threw in Krypto, Superman’s dog, causing chaos on landing.

Leaks spilled about possible TV show crossovers, and folks are buzzing over Family Guy or Bob’s Burgers themes showing up in Fortnite. Epic hasn’t spilled all the beans, but it’s got fans guessing. With each leak, the anticipation ramps up. Wonder what else Epic has up their sleeves? Sure feels like a game of endless surprises.
