Big Pikachu had a lot to say, and honestly, it was kind of a whirlwind.
Okay, so where do I start? Oh, right! There’s this whole Z-A thing and some epic Pokemon Go event—like, seriously massive. But let me rewind a bit. The Pokemon Presents was jam-packed.
First of all, there was this new game called "Pokemon Friends." And, no joke, it leaked on the iOS App Store before they even got around to announcing it. Classic slip-up, right? It’s this puzzle thing where you build Pokemon plushies. Plus, they’ve got these extra puzzles you can buy—because why wouldn’t they? It’s up now on the eShop for like $9.99. Or whatever that is in your currency.
And as if that wasn’t enough, there’s news on the 2025 World Championships. They’re going all out — "Championship Sunday" will be in Anaheim at the Honda Center. You know, where the Anaheim Ducks do their hockey thing. Kind of a big deal.
Oh! And Netflix? They’ve got the Pokemon Concierge series rolling into a second season on September 4. Meanwhile, this fun-looking series by Aardman is on the way in 2027 — no kidding, it’s by the folks who did Wallace & Gromit. Can’t wait.
Now for the theme parks: PokePark Kanto is coming to Tokyo in early 2026. Perfect timing for the 30th anniversary, right?
Pokemon Masters EX? Adding Carmine from Scarlet and Violet’s DLC on July 30. Ocean-themed event in Pokemon Cafe Remix today, featuring costumed Lapras and Totodile — how cute is that?
And then there’s Latias joining Pokemon Unite on August 8. Right now, you can play something called "Electrode Volleyball" — sounds… interesting.
Oh, and new trading cards? There’s some Mega Evolution set that’s already sold out. Go figure.
Anyway, raid battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are starting tomorrow. Yeah, they want a million defeats of those "Treasures of Ruin" legendaries — wild! And shiny versions for all once it’s done. Plus, Mass Outbreaks, which are happening all the time.
Finally, Pokemon Champions is kind of playing it smart. You’ll be able to rent Pokemon and mess around with their effort values and nature by 2026. It’s still tethered to Pokemon Home, too.
Woof, that was a lot. But, hey, I think I got it all. Maybe.
