Asphalt Marks Two Decades on the Track!

The Asphalt series, wow, 20 whole years, and honestly, it’s like where did the time go? Starting way back with Asphalt GT in 2005—I can’t believe it’s been that long—the series has been right there at the front of arcade racing. Nine main games, plus a bunch of spin-offs. We’ve zoomed through these wild, digital tracks in like… over 1,000 different cars. Nuts, right?

Feels like a good time to party with the fans who’ve been sticking around. Asphalt Legends and Asphalt 8: Airborne, yeah, they’re getting in on this too.

So, Legends is kicking off this anniversary blowout, setting up for a jam-packed season. They’ve got surprises in store, both feel-good nostalgic and maybe something like, boom, mind-blowing new.

Throwback Track

Oh man, the first new track this year—it’s a time-warp kinda deal. We’re talking classic locations from the series, mashed into one race. Like, seriously?

First up, San Diego Harbor, back from Asphalt 8. If you remember that layout, you’ll catch it. We went all out with a souped-up engine—now it’s cinematically drenched in rain, looking seriously moody in San Diego.

Then, cruising back to the LA river from Asphalt 6 and 7. We’ve juiced it up into a fresh, detailed, sunlit LA with crazy water effects. Old-school fans, this is for you.

And yeah, Cairo from Asphalt Legends made the cut. We tweaked the time of day there for a little twist to end our retro ride.

Building this thing was no walk in the park—it took rebuilding these tracks from scratch, making tech that swaps environments mid-race. It’s a nostalgia-fueled rollercoaster.

Celebration Season

Alright, buckle up for an Asphalt legacy blowout. Like, events galore, and the all-new Drive Syndicate is the biggie. Fitting, yeah? We dig deep, pulling out flashy cars including this beast, the Arash Imperium—it’s jaw-dropping.

Our creators went wild, packing a series of 20 car-themed events, throwing players in hot pursuit of collecting these rides. Live races, fan competitions, rewards… there’s a lot. Don’t forget the community scene with ACE Challenges and daily freebies.
