Sure thing, here goes:

So, here we are. Again. Wrapped another gaming circus — Summer Game Fest 2025, right? And guess what? Not a peep from Team Cherry about Silksong. Yup, that Metroidvania we’re all daydreaming about. Still, nada. Zilch. What’s new, right?
Seriously, considering how long we’ve been hanging on since Silksong first popped up in 2019, you’d think we’d be used to this. But no, Geoffrey Keighley had to crank up the salt levels, poking fun at all us hopefuls with this cheeky segment. Like, ouch.
He was setting the stage for Marvel Games’ Deadpool VR reveal when he casually read this “letter” from Wade Wilson himself. It said something like, “Forget the Silksong trailer, spotlight my VR instead.” Classic Keighley mischief there.
So, yeah, that stung a bit — though, honestly, Neil Patrick Harris as Deadpool might just be the chaotic energy we all need. Even if I’m still VR-less. Wade was being Wade, and Keighley’s just adding spice to the no-news list.
The real kicker? Team Cherry’s all hush-hush — barely a trailer in six years, except that tease in Nintendo’s Switch 2 Direct with a 2025 window. Guess they’re keeping it on the DL, which only amps up everyone’s obsession with any crumb they throw.
And then there’s the tease on Steam, all hinting at possible updates and trailers, leading us to dream of a reveal at Summer Game Fest. Or, you know, NOT.
But hey, hope’s not dead yet. We’re eyeballing the 2025 Xbox Games Showcase like it’s our last shot of espresso. June 8, mark it. With Silksong tied to Game Pass from day one, Microsoft could easily turn heads by dropping a release date bomb.
Okay, Aaron Greenberg’s telling us not to hype too much, so maybe curb wild theories. But hey, a Silksong date drop isn’t asking too much. Right? We can dream.
And if nothing shows? Well, it wouldn’t shock me. I mean, I’m a Bloodborne fan. Heartbreak comes with the territory.
