Build a Rocket Boy just lost a couple of their bigwigs, right before they’re about to drop their first game. Yeah, MindsEye is the talk of the town, or at least it should be. But nope, two senior execs just bolted. That’s interesting timing, huh?
So, Riley Graebner — their chief legal dude or whatever — jumped ship. He put up some long goodbye post on LinkedIn. Tried to sound pumped about what they did there. Mentioned something about doubling their crew to over 450 folks. Like, that’s a lot! They even pushed out some products worldwide, no biggie. Oh, and setting up their legal house too. But, hey, now he’s off to something new. Says he’s in stealth mode, which sounds all secret agent-y.
And then Paul Bland, the money guy, left too. Only two years, and poof, he’s gone! Makes you wonder, right? Like, what’s really going on over there? Just a couple of coincidences, maybe? Or is something fishy happening?
And you’ve got Mark Gerhard, the co-CEO, throwing out wild accusations. Claims somebody’s paying to trash-talk MindsEye. What’s up with that drama? No proof though — just stirring the pot, I guess.
Anyway, all this right before they launch. Not exactly the best vibe, is it? But hey, maybe they know what they’re doing. Or maybe they’re just making it up as they go along. Who can say?
