Upcoming Xbox Game Releases: May 26 – June 1

Wow, so this week’s Xbox lineup… where do I even start? I mean, Elden Ring Nightreign—I swear, FromSoftware just keeps cranking these out. Anyway, it’s like they took the whole co-op thing and wrapped it up in a game where you can’t just chill; you gotta keep moving ’cause the map is shrinking. Stressful? Probably. Fun? You bet.

And get this: they ditched the usual character classes for these archetype things. Some baddies are borrowed from other games like Dark Souls. Maybe that’s a good thing. Or not, if you like surprises. I guess we’ll find out.

Oh, but last week? Missed it? Capcom’s Onimusha 2 remaster hit the scene. Don’t ask how I know, I just do.

Jumping into what’s next, let’s see, May 27, 2025, is when Cattle Country saddles up. This one’s part cozy life sim, part Wild West escapade. You could be doing anything from plowing fields to catching bandits. How’s that for variety?

Zombie Cure Lab—sounds like science fiction but hold up, they’re cooking up some kind of antidote to solve this zombie thing. Like, what? Kudos to the random scientists. Who knew humbies would be our future? You build labs, you cure folks. It’s wild.

Now, May 28 rolls in with Black Pieces Move First. Chess, but not as you know it. It’s a pawn uprising or something. Then there’s Cinderscratch. The name alone makes me think of a city that was so close to saving itself but—poof! Gone. Rot, corruption, you know, the usual.

Speaking of chaos, Disorder: Save Your Family. It’s this dark puzzle game where your choices matter, like life-and-death style. Yikes, no pressure.

Elemental War Clash combines tower defense and roguelite stuff, which should be interesting. And there’s Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo. Just imagine battling crime bosses with a yoyo. Not messing around.

May 29 brings Battle Puzzle 2048 – Space Girls. Yup, 2048 but now with space girls. Sounds thrilling, doesn’t it? And Copycat is all about a pet and its human dealing with abandonment. Very real, very feels-heavy.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3? Kids get a tank and face off against these Crimson Knights. Like, this is actually happening in a video game. And Higgs Boson Puzzle Collection, where you spin the world to guide spheres. Who thinks of these things?

Spray Paint Simulator—let’s just say if painting a giant robot sounds like a good time, this one’s for you.

May 30’s got Bridge Race, where you grab bricks and race around building bridges. Because why not? Then there’s Disney Illusion Island with Mickey and pals looking for mystical books. Good times for sure.

Deep Under offers up some camping fun that quickly turns sinister. Because, of course. And Dual Paths, where every decision feels monumental—heroes and villains all under your control.

Eternal Evil sounds like its name with shooty-shoot action versus creepy ghouls. Elden Ring Nightreign, well, it’s its own thing, with a new adventure in the Elden Ring cosmos.

There’s F1 25, because racing fans need their fix, and Kuznetsk 1997 for those who love a juicy visual novel mystery. Small town secrets are best served with a twist, apparently.
