Alright, so here’s the thing. Maximum Entertainment, they’ve got this game coming out. It’s called, uh, 40 Sports Games In 1, I think. And yeah, it’s gonna be on the Nintendo Switch. Yay?
Breakfirst Games developed it. You know them? Exactly. Me neither. But apparently, they’re saying it’s the “largest sports game collection available.” Whatever that means. Bigger may not always mean better, but who am I to judge?
So, this is a follow-up, kinda. They had this 34 Sports Games In 1, and now, of course, they added more. Hence the ‘40’—simple math. The new additions? Tug of War, Rowing Tow, High Jump, Taekwondo, Snowball Fight, and Triple Jump. The last one seems like an accidental stepchild of ‘normal jump.’
Anyway, what’s cool—or meant to be—is you can play alone or rope in family. Because who else would tolerate your sports passion, right? Winning stuff gives you rewards. Costume unlocks or something? Whatever floats your boat.
They keep hyping the features or whatever. Like, 40 sports—cool? Or not? There’s football, bowling, volleyball. The usual suspects. Plus, weird ones like paddling and tug-of-war. Gee, thanks, that’s my Saturday sorted.
As you go along, you get to dress up your character. Actually, that sounds weirdly fun. Like, who doesn’t love a costume party, virtual or not?
Oh, and mark those calendars: it drops on Nintendo’s eShop on August 28, 2025. Got a thing for physical copies? That’s happening in North America on September 25, 2025.
There’s a trailer or something, if you’re into that kind of stuff—though I didn’t get around to it. Maybe I’ll watch later. Or not. Depends.
And what’s with trailers being released ages before games these days? Patience, people, patience!
