Sony just spilled the beans on the August 2025 freebies for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and guess what — one of the headliners is this game called Lies of P. It’s in that weird “souslike” (or should I say “soulslike”?) genre. I mean, if you’re into dark, gothic vibes with a sprinkle of Belle Époque flair — whatever that means — this one’s for you. Think Pinocchio, but with a creepy twist. You’re the puppet guy, slashing through monsters after some wild puppet revolt in Krat. Petrification epidemic, anyone?

Okay, so grabbing these games is pretty easy. Dive into one of those PlayStation Plus plans — Premium, Extra, or Essential. Just gotta be subscribed, and bam, the games are yours. They’ve been doing this day-one release thingy for three months now, dishing out stuff like Lost Records and Blue Prince. Cool, right? Or maybe it’s just me getting hyped.
