I’m on it…

So, GTA 6 just dropped its second trailer today. And lemme tell you, it’s not just the flashy stuff that caught my eye—more like the quirky bits that make you go, “Hmm, really?” There’s this whole buzz now about a fun detail in the background. Y’know, the kinda thing we obsess over while waiting for that long, painful countdown to May 26, 2026. Why, you ask? ‘Cause that’s our new date after the darn delay. Keeps us entertained, I guess?
Okay, but let’s backtrack—where was I? Right, around 2 minutes and 14 seconds into the trailer, there’s this scene with Jason and Lucia. They’re chilling—just like, being all nonchalant—and bam! Just before Lucia does this droopy sack-of-potatoes dive on Jason (seriously, sooo extra), there’s a sneaky peek at what’s on their TV.
Forget the Phil’s Ammunation ad for a sec, and glance at the side of the screen. You see it? The PS5—or, wait—something trying super hard to be one. Picture a wannabe PS5, sporting that classic white-black combo with electric-blue lights. It’s like, “Hi, I’m not illegal, but I try real hard.”
Could it be an early peek at a PS6? Doubt it. I’m gonna go with something like “NayStation.” Or maybe my brain just made that up. Who knows.
Anyway, light bulbs are flickering in the heads of fans, “Hey, can we play games in this game?” It’s not groundbreaking—Yakuza already nailed this with their SEGA mashups, and GTA Online tried a similar trick with its arcade games.
But what folks are dreaming up here is next-level. Some dude—goes by PastorPoppyseed online—already tossed out the idea of playing Vice City inside GTA 6. Can you imagine? Meanwhile, another who calls themselves AveryLazyCovfefe (epic name, BTW) was all like, “If I can play GTA 3, I’m totally ditching the new stuff for some nostalgia.”
And then there’s this chatter about how Jason is weirdly relatable. Someone actually said, “Muscular MLG gamer who hooks up with thick Latinas? That’s literally me.” I mean, okay. Sure.
So, what’s your take on trailer #2? Do you think we’ll get to dip back into vintage GTAs while exploring Leonida? Leave your hot takes below—I’m curious!
