Sure thing. Here’s my take:

Okay, so here’s the deal. Supermassive Games is dropping this thing called Directive 8020 on the PS5. Yeah, it’s happening on October 2nd, so mark your calendars—if you’re into that sort of thing.
Anyway, there’s this video teaser or something, but you gotta feed it your birth date first (weird, right?). Must be some age restriction thing.
Now, here’s the bit that gets me: It’s by the folks who made UNTIL DAWN and THE QUARRY. So, you know it’s gonna be a ride. They’re tagging it as some sci-fi horror adventure—which sounds both exciting and terrifying. You’re crash-landing and then, bam, there are aliens. Classic.
Imagine being 12 light years away on Tau Ceti f (honestly, who names these places?). You’re stuck on the Cassiopeia ship, realizing you’re not alone. Kind of like those awkward moments at the grocery store when you bump into someone you weren’t planning to see. But worse. Much, much worse.
These aliens, man, they mimic you, which only adds to the paranoia. Like, who even thought up a plot like this? So, the crew has to figure out how to get back to Earth, and the stakes are wild. Save Earth or save yourself. No pressure, right?
And then there’s Lashana Lynch. Yeah, the very same. She’s apparently playing some badass astronaut named Young. I mean, if anyone can handle the space horror shenanigans, it’s her. Stealth, makeshift weapons, it’s like a pressure cooker of intensity.
But don’t get too comfy. Aliens can look like anyone. Trust issues galore. Just imagine trying to figure out if your crew’s actually your crew. Trust no one, they say. Eerie.
And finally, the whole “death takes many forms” thing? Vague yet chilling. Like, are we talking straight-up horror, psychological spooks, or everything in between?
Honestly, not sure whether to be excited or just plain scared. Probably both.
