Alright, so here’s the scoop on Elden Ring Nightreign. Servers just came back up after a bit of maintenance today. Yeah, they needed a break. Anyway, FromSoftware threw in a pretty important patch — let’s just say it’s a bit of a game-changer for us solo folks.
So, update 1.01.1 hit all the platforms, and you bet I was all over it. Here’s what’s in store.
Right after Nightreign dropped, people were grumbling about how solo players were getting a rough deal. Sure, the whole thing’s meant to be a team effort with three players. But soloing it was like asking for punishment.
The devs, bless them, promised some tweaks in the next big patch, supposedly coming later. Surprise though, 1.01.1 snuck in a couple of those goodies early.
Now, solo players get this lifeline — a free revival in every night boss fight. Handier than a pocket on a shirt, if you ask me. Before, you had to earn it, which kind of sucked for lone wolves, but not anymore! Oh, and they’ve pumped up rune acquisition for solos too. Guess they’re trying to make leveling up less of a grind.
For everyone else, they juiced up the Day 3 Expedition loot, so you snag more high-rarity Relics. About time, am I right? Also, those Scenic Flat stones are now Relic goldmines — head to the Small Jar Bazaar and clean up.
Picture this: you’re in the middle of mayhem, and snap—camera goes haywire when you hit Wings of Salvation. That migraine-inducing chaos? Gone.
It’s like a carnival of bug fixes too. Powers triggered at the wrong times, misbehaving graphics, bizarre crashes — all getting a kick in the pants. There’s a big ol’ list, but trust me, they’ve done some serious tidying up.
Steam players, got you covered too. Weird graphic problems when quality settings drop low? Sorted. And that flaky Climb action? Should be less of a headache now whether you’re on a keyboard or a gamepad.
