So, um, I stumbled across this game called Ruffy and the Riverside. Or maybe it found me — who knows? Anyway, it’s from these folks at Phiphen Games and Zockrates Laboratory. And get this, I actually got to play it. Not bragging, just saying.
Here’s a little slice of what I thought: Ruffy’s all about color and fun vibes. You’re in this open-world (whatever that means these days) as Ruffy. Cool name, right? Your mission? Hunt for treasure like there’s no tomorrow. But there’s a twist — Ruffy’s got this superpower, if you can call it that. You can scan textures and swap ’em. It’s like magic, almost. Like, you see lava? Bam! Now it’s a river you can chill by. Waterfalls? Why not make them into vines? It makes more sense when you play it, I guess.
Oh, and there’s a chance to snag a free PlayStation 5 copy of this game. North America only, sorry world! You’ve got until August 1, 2025, midnight PST, so mark your calendars or something.

Catch you another time when I’m not lost in a game.
