Each Synth boasts five different levels of progression, marked by unique bonuses that make them stand out. However, as they climb in levels, getting enough experience points becomes tougher. To stay on your game and unlock more abilities, swapping between your Synths frequently is a smart strategy!
Let’s talk specifics: there’s a Synth called “Psitek” that can ignite torches from the get-go. Hit level three, and it gains a nifty ability—destroying projectiles with its fiery slash, a handy skill in certain dungeons. Beyond this, however, its bonuses mostly beef up combat prowess. Soon enough, you’ll find yourself with a boat that the scientists once owned, now ready for your adventures! The Genesis Archipelago has a slew of small islands packed with hidden treasures, from bonus hearts to stat-boosting items and currency for shopping. If you’re not keen on collecting everything, you can jump straight to the main islands to face off with the scientists and disrupt their dubious dealings.
Venturing onto the central islands, you’ll face boss Synths, but don’t overlook the optional islands—they might host them too. It’s no walk in the park capturing all 40-plus Synths, but each corner of the Genesis Archipelago is brimming with hidden rewards for the ambitious.
