I mean, what is life, right? Oh, but heads up, you gotta pounce on this before July 3, 2:59 a.m. ET. Why the weird time? Who knows.
Anyway, what does the game even promise? You’re flung into all these crazy lands with controls that are supposed to be, like, super immersive. And the choice is yours — solo races against time (sounds intense) or you can team up with a couple of friends for some makeshift teamwork. Craftworld is in danger from the villainous Vex and his Topsy Turver thing—whatever that means—and you’re supposed to be the hero. Just imagine that for a second!
Back when this hit the scene in 2020, it was all thumbs up from the critics. Metacritic gave it a 79 — I guess they have a thing for nines. But over here, we threw a perfect 10 at it. I mean, details and polish, it’s like they’re hyping it up to feel like the happiest surprise you didn’t see coming.
