Alright, so, here’s the scoop — straight from the chaos that is my brain. You can email us at [email protected] if you really have to, but let’s dive into the good stuff. Or at least what we think is good.
So I was sitting there, cup of coffee that somehow always goes cold no matter how quickly I try to drink it, listening to Sid and Brett ramble on about the latest games. It’s kinda what we do, right? This week was something else though, with all the interviews — felt like we were on a talk show or something. We chatted with Arrowhead’s Alex Bolle and Niklas Malmborg. No idea why, but I kept thinking about their accents. Totally unrelated, but those little quirks always stick with me, you know?
Let’s get sidetracked by shiny stuff coming out next week. Yeah, here’s what stuck:
-
To a T on PS5. Sounds short and sweet, or maybe that’s just my wishful thinking.
-
F1 25 for PS5 and PS4. Vroom vroom, right?
-
Disney Illusion Island starring Mickey and the gang. Honestly, I was low-key obsessed with Mickey as a kid. Memories, man.
-
Elden Ring Nightreign on PS5 and PS4. Yet another realm to lose yourself in.
- Hypercharge: Unboxed making its way to consoles. Think toy battles. Or was it more like Lego? Memories are foggy.
And then there’s Helldivers 2. Apparently Super Earth’s under attack. Feeling like we’re the ones always saving it. Was that dramatic? Maybe. Felt right, though.
Oh, and Mukti — a neat narrative thing from Sony India. Got a gameplay reveal, and I’m a sucker for those spine-tingling narrative twists. Bring it on.
Can’t forget the ever-present Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. New maps, new modes — that’s one way to keep people glued to their seats. Trust me, I’ve seen it happen.
Zenless Zone Zero — somehow got in their second season pretty fast. June 6 is the magic date, with new features sweetening the deal. Kinda like a surprise cupcake at a party.
Before I forget, mega thanks to Dormilón for the kickass theme song. Seriously, can’t get it out of my head — and no, that’s not a complaint.
Oh, and one last editor’s note (because rules are rules?): those PSN game dates might do the old switcheroo on us. Publishers love their little game of timelines. It’s like watching an episode of “will they, won’t they," but with video games. Classic, right?
Anyway, that’s all she wrote. Or rather, all I did. Or didn’t. Who knows?
