So, here we go again, hopefully this one won’t end up like that infamous disaster of a WWE game we saw with the original Switch. Remember that? What a mess.
Anyway, switch gears — or wait, maybe I’m jumping ahead. Ah, whatever. WWE’s about to step back into the ring on Nintendo’s new Switch 2 — and it’s happening pretty darn soon.
Just a heads-up, preorders opened up today for WWE 2K25, the first official WWE game on a Nintendo system since what, like, 2017? Yeah, it’s been a while. Mark your calendars for July 23, that’s when the game drops. They’ve got three versions lined up. Let me try to explain. So, there’s the basic one for $69.99. Not bad. Then there’s this $99.99 “Deadman” edition, which — by the way — features The Undertaker. Would you look at that? And of course, the premium $129.99 “Bloodline” edition. It’s kinda all about Roman Reigns and his “Bloodline” crew, who’ve pretty much taken over wrestling shows for, oh, I don’t know, most of the decade? Seriously.
Oh! And check this out. Over 300 wrestlers from the main shows, you know, Raw, Smackdown, NXT — yeah, they’re all there. Plus, they’ve got this thing called “Island” mode. Sounds… interesting? Or maybe I’m just easily intrigued. Anyway, it’s a whole package.
